LIZ MELENDEZ
Considered by many to be one of the top lead guitarists in the country, her live performances demonstrate her versatility, often paying homage to her influences as a highlight to her own clearly defined lead guitar and vocal style.
Her guitar playing has been compared to everyone from Carlos Santana to Stevie Ray Vaughan and her voice has been compared to everyone from Bonnie Raitt to Janis Joplin.
Liz currently has 3 album releases to her credit showcasing her talents as a songwriter, arranger, and producer. She has performed on stage with such notables as Bob Margolin, Henry Butler, Francine Reed, Hubert Sumlin, E.G. Kight, Chris Duarte and Candye Kane. Born and raised in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Liz currently resides and tours out of Atlanta, Georgia.
ERIC SANDERS
Eric has been a staple in the LMB universe for the past 3 decades. According to Liz, “Eric’s passion, professionalism, work ethic, and dynamic proficiency have always made him the perfect drummer for the kind of shows I like to do.” Originally from New York, Eric holds a BS in Music Education from Penn State and went to NYU for his Master's Degree in Jazz Performance. He is one of the main drum instructors at the Atlanta Institute of Music, and has been teaching, gigging, and recording in Atlanta since 1996 touring throughout the U.S. and overseas, working with numerous groups and artists that run the gamut of musical styles.
FUJI FUJIMOTO
Fuji is one of the most sought-after bassists in Atlanta. Liz says, “Playing with Fuji in other projects it became obvious that she was a great fit for LMB.” An accomplished pianist and composer, her expert facility and passion for creating great musical experiences with others also make her a great addition to the dynamic and explosive live musical performances fans have come to enjoy from LMB shows. Fuji is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and holds a master certificate in orchestration for film and TV from Berklee Online.
